I create these abstract/impressions using Cold Wax Medium mixed with oil paint. The result is varied and certainly gives texture to the finished painting, where needed, adding interest. The question which is often asked is : How long does it take to dry? Well it depends on many factors but generally I would say they are touch dry after 3 weeks, but this may vary.

I varnish the finished work once I am satisfied the paint is thoroughly dry, so for any commission I receive we are looking for a period of at least 2 weeks once the painting is finished, before hanging.
